Deacon Willie Thomas Lowe, Jr.

Willie Thomas Lowe, Jr., affectionately called “Lowe” was born October 25, 1944 in Washington, Georgia to the Late Willie Thomas Lowe, Sr. and Ruth Norman. Deacon Lowe was educated in the Orange County School System. He matriculated through Callahan Elementary School and graduated in the Class of 1963 from Hungerford High School.

He valiantly served his country in the United States Army. His church affilations include: New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Winter Park Florida, Fountain Head Missionary Baptist Church of Oviedo , Florida (where he served as a Deacon and as Financial Secretary) and Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Winter Park, Florida (where he served as Outreach Director, Sunday School Teacher and Deacon).

Deacon Lowe leaves to mourn his memory, a devoted and loving wife of thirty-two (32) years, Patricia Ann Williams Lowe; one son: Sean Lowe; one daughter: Shea Hutchins; one sister: Louise N. Wright, Tuskegee, Alabama; one brother: Roosevelt Norman, Dothan, Alabama; mother-in-law: Tressie Lee Smiley, Winter Park, Florida; two brothers-in-law: Harold Smiley and Robert Williams; four grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Deacon Lowe was called home to glory on June 7, 2005.
